Even though it hasn’t been all that long since I last redecorated my bedroom, I’ve decided that teal is the main scheme and is absolutely perfect for my home!
My full-time job is running a digital marketing agency and content creation in the home decor industry, so I’m always on the lookout for new trends and following existing ones. I find inspiration on Pinterest.
I have already placed the order for the paint, and I will eventually get around to buying the other items.
However, before I do that, I wanted to share with you how I plan to change the color scheme of my bedroom from the dreamy grey and blush to a more vibrant teal look…
The conventional school of thought behind many bedroom designs is as follows: bedrooms should serve as an escape from the frenzy of everyday life…
Due to this, bedrooms ought to be decorated in colors that are soothing or neutral so as to create an atmosphere of refuge and relaxation.
It is possible to use vibrant or striking colors, but only in very minute quantities.
Does this ring a bell? But what if we had a different frame of mind regarding bedrooms? It’s true that bedrooms are places to wind down and relax, but the mood created by the room’s color scheme isn’t the only factor.
Instead, it is typically more of a personal choice, such as the style of furniture we select, the coziness of the blankets we add, or the amount of afternoon light that streams in, all of which work together to create a stronger feeling of relaxation in the space.
Keeping this in mind, it could be time to experiment with different color combinations in the bedroom. Enter the color teal.
This blue-green shade can be used to dress a space up or down, works with a wide variety of styles in a wide variety of ways, and is, to be perfectly honest, a lot of fun.
